Performance Program

For individual consultants, we set out to make visible their quality and level of performance based on measurable criteria. For this reason, we have created an innovative performance program based on points to recognize the depth and breadth of expertise as well as your impact in the market.

Our Performance Program is straightforward – the more points a consultant has earned, the higher the status they obtain - the more benefits they receive. To make this visible, each consultant is set to a level of achievement per year based on their level of experience (Platinum, Gold, and Silver). Different activities earn points such as: achievement of a professional certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2 Practitioner, MCP, etc.), demonstrating sales performance, publishing an article in a trade journal, obtaining customer references, etc. The higher your level, the more benefits you receive = higher % of funding (e.g., to be used for your education and mobility budgets). The funding is a percentage corresponding to your annual revenue target.

Example: Two consultants both have their annual revenue target set at $100.000. One consultant has achieved silver level resulting in a budget of 3%, while another consultant has achieved Gold level with a budget of 4%.

Compensation Model

We belief that we are in the business of selling hours thru the value we bring our clients and by fostering a ‘Dynamo’ culture. Hence, each consultant compensation package is linked to their market value (ability to generate revenues). Together with you, we jointly set an achievable and realistic revenue target each year to reflect your growth, experience, taking into account local market conditions. Each consultant has the possibility to earn up to 50% of their annual revenue target. The building blocks of our compensation model are:

  • 35% Fixed Incentive (acts as your monthly salary)
  • 10% Performance Incentive (based on charge-out per month)
  • 05% Commercial Incentive (for any engagement brought into the company)
  • 50% Total

Our compensation model is based on ‘earn-as-go’ that allows us to pay out the performance and commercial incentives each quarter on top of your monthly salary. So no waiting to till the end of the year, our consultants see the results of their efforts more immediately than other professional service firms. With respect to a benefits package, where possible, we try to maintain market conform practices based on local market conditions.

Example: A consultant has their annual revenue target set to $150.000 based on 1,500 billable hours at a charge-out of $100 per hour. Their fixed salary is set at $52.500 per year (35% = paid out monthly). For that year, the consultant’s charged out was on target, receiving a performance incentive of $15.000 (10% = paid out quarterly). The consultant also secured an engagement for a colleague worth $50,000 – allowing them to claim a commercial incentive of $2.500 (5% = paid out quarterly). In total, the consultant earned $70.000 per year.
